Set your GPS to “69-1081 Kuualii Place Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738”. Park at the A-Bay Beach Park parking lot. Head toward the beach, once you reach the sand, take a right and walk along the beach. About halfway down the beach, you will see our beach hut -- check in with our friendly crew!

Best One Ever - We have been on a number of Ocean Sports whale watching cruises, but this was our first via A-Beach and the sailing catamaran. Shuttling from the beach to the vessel was easy. The crew was excellent, the snacks satisfactory, and, though this was a "sunset" cruise, not a "whale-watching" cruise, it turned out to be a FANTASTIC whale-watching cruise. So much so that we were out almost 3 hours, despite scheduled for only 2, and the crew, along with everyone else, was at the rail watching the whales. It was easily the best one we've done and we probably encountered more whales than on all of our prior trips on the Big Island and Kauai combined.

Sunset Bliss - A perfect way to end our time in Hawaii but would have been good anytime in our trip. . The crew were wonderful and how can you miss being out on a nice catamaran boat for a Hawaii' sunset. A bonus was seeing a whale we didn't expect.

Beautiful views and great staff! - We did the sunset cocktail cruise with 3 adults and really enjoyed it! Booking process was great and easy to do. We drove to the port in Kawaihae and a short shuttle ride later we were on the boat. Staff was excellent. Friendly and informative. Boat is also nice with big trampolines to lie in up front. We even saw whales as we did this cruise in December! Overall highly recommended, we will be back for another round for sure!

The sunset was amazing. The food and... - <p>The sunset was amazing. The food and drinks were good appetizers. The crew was awesome making sure we all had drinks and food and were enjoying ourselves. The one and only reason I did not give this a 5 star was because we barely went anywhere. I was thinking the boat would cruise along at a slow/medium speed but we basically just went out on the water and hung around so the scenery didn't really change while waiting for the sun to set. HOWEVER, this might have been because we went on a very windy day and perhaps the ocean was too rough to leave the area.</p>
