KEALAKEKUA BAY: Known for its historical significance and as an underwater marine sanctuary, Kealakekua Bay is a large bay that ensures calm waters throughout the year, making it one of the best Kona snorkeling tours. The clear waters provide excellent visibility.
HONAUNAU BAY: Situated near Pu’uhonua O Hōnaunau National Historic Park, often called the “Place of Refuge,” this is a renowned snorkeling destination. Honaunau Bay is uniquely beautiful, offering a different snorkeling experience compared to Kealakekua Bay, with exceptional water visibility most of the year. Visitors can explore stunning coral shelves interspersed with white sandy patches.

The crew will share fascinating Hawaiian history during the journey. As the cruise progresses, enjoy breathtaking views of the Big Island’s rugged coastline, along with glimpses of sea caves and lava tubes. With a bit of luck, you might see a pod of dolphins or a whale, as they are present year-round (note that humpback whale migration is seasonal!).
