Your adventure starts on a vibrant rainforest trail that leads to the base of Kīlauea Volcano’s main summit caldera. During the journey, we delve into the rainforest’s diverse plant and animal life. Upon reaching the caldera floor, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the towering crater walls and the primary lava vent of Kīlauea.

You’ll gain insights not only into the geology of Kīlauea Volcano but also into the extensive geologic history of the Hawaiian Island chain. We then climb to the rim, where you’ll witness awe-inspiring views that are rarely seen by visitors.
