Amazing experience for 1st time surfers!! - We booked this activity for 1st time surfers for our 4 girls between 9-12 yrs age group. They loved it and were able to surf by themselves by 3rd try. We were amazed to see our girls having so much fun!! Private tutors were very helpful and encouraging the girls keep goingl!!

Great Private Lesson - Arie was a great tutor (I did a private lesson with her). I can now stand on the wave well! It was a fun time! But if anyone wants to book and looking for the location, you may need to look for the truck with the sign Send Town Kona Surfer (Something similar to it) as they company packs their truck near Kahalu’u beach park (on the roadside)

Great waves + great instructor = wonderful experience - Beautiful morning surfing Kahalu’u Beach with Julano. He was excellent in helping me (a moderately skilled beginner) dial in the break, clean up my paddling skills and a few other bits of my technique. As a Colorado resident, it’s difficult to spend the daily hours needed to become skilled in this sport, but with the pointers and instruction given to me from Juliano, I have renewed hope that I might not be stuck in my “advanced beginner” rut for the rest of my life. Highly recommended!

11 yr old surf experience - My daughter (11yrs old) did two lessons through Kona Town Surf Adventure. She had a great experience both times, and loved Arie. My daughter felt she learned a lot from Arie, and she was fun to talk to. I appreciated that Arie kept her eye on her and kept her safe. Overall great experience and would recommend to others.

Awesome instructor! - Dylan was a GREAT instructor! My partner and I LOVED our first experience surfing with him!! Totally recommend it! We learned so much in one sitting!! One of the best parts of our trip to Hawaii!

Great afternoon! - My kids had an amazing experience! The instructors Asher and Ari were wonderful, got my kids standing and enjoying surfing safely in just a few tries! They had a wonderful time!

Our sons (14 & 12)... - Our sons (14 & 12) started our trip with these lessons and it’s still my 14 year old’s favorite part. We had Arie and Aria. You’ll go out in a larger group but have one instructor focused on you. Great time!

Great instructors for beginners - The instructors were very knowledgeable and friendly. My boys each had an instructor and they made sure the boys had lots of opportunities to catch waves. My kids felt safe and had lots of fun.
