Experience the stunning lights of Kona aboard our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by an unforgettable adventure—night snorkeling with the magnificent manta rays! Upon arrival, enjoy a comprehensive introduction to these fascinating ocean creatures. Join our professional and certified guides in the water to snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). We provide snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits, and swim noodles. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa are included.
Guests can also purchase beer, wine, and cocktails from our fully stocked bar.
- Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
- Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat
- Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 30 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Beach Kona Hotel. Our address is 75-5660 Palani Road, Suite C8, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
- We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.
- PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
- Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers or that do not know how to snorkel
- Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
- Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
- Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

Bucket list item - Wonderful experience to see the Manta Rays up close and personal. Should be an item on every Snorkeler's bucket list. Great crew and captain

So magical! - Wife and I went on the late night manta tour and it was magical! The rays got SO close! The staff was all very kind, from the girls who checked us in, to the crew on board (who made great drinks btw 😜). Got a little cold in the water but they gave us hot Cocoa when we got out! The boat was clean and well maintained. A much needed experience! Mahalo!

So amazing! - Such an amazing experience!! Every single employee here was awesome and made this adventure unforgettable. Saw the coolest stuff in the water while snorkeling and got to come back on the boat to hot coco after. 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting the area!!

So much fun!! - So incredible! Before we even got on the boat the staff was so kind, loved the gals in the office who helped us sign in and prepare us for the night! The tour was amazing, got to see some amazing mantas and the crew was incredible and so kind! Will definitely be going again!

Wonderful experience - Easy to schedule and good contact with KonaStyle. The guides were great and friendly. I was very happy that we got to see a manta. The guides made being in the ocean at night very manageable- not at all scary. It was also really nice to have the wet shirt and noodle.

Absolutely a MUST do if you come to Kona, I would do it again In a heartbeat - Amazing experience with a great crew on the boat... very patient, very knowledgeable and are 100% all about ensuring you have a great experience. The only way it could have been better is if they had go pros set up on the rig so we could purchase photos ... hint hint

Manta Ray Snorkel - Such a great time!! All except for the old man who was yelling at the younger staff on the boat. The younger staff were extremely helpful in seeing the manta rays, swimming with us, and checking on us on the boat. And the older male on the boat was inappropriately yelling at one of them in front of everyone. It was extremely uncomfortable and unwarranted.

Great experience!!! - This was recommended by our hotel concierge and it was an amazing experience. If you do one thing in Kona, do this!!! It was unbelievable and my teenage daughters also loved it. The boat, crew and overall experience was the best. Cannot recommend these company high enough

Great experience, mediocre provider - We got lucky and saw a TON of manta rays. Truly an incredible experience. The boat has about 40 people on it and the crew were largely indifferent and disinterested (with a couple exceptions). But I felt safe and got to see lots of rays so overall happy. Definitely not worth the high price tag as there are many other companies who charge the same or less with far better service/experience. We booked late and there wasn’t much left.
