Kulaniapia Falls is a private paradise!!! - Absolutely loved Kulaniapia Falls! The property is peaceful, lush, and beautifully maintained — it feels like stepping into a private paradise. Swimming at the base of the waterfall was the highlight of our trip. The staff were friendly and made everything easy. I could’ve spent the whole day just relaxing and listening to the water. If you’re anywhere near Hilo, this is a must-do experience!

100% recommend - Went here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved the experience. Staff was friendly and inviting. The trails were spectacularly maintained. Very quiet place to go enjoy the water away from the hustle of tourism in other parts of the island. Bonus is that this is close to several other places to check out before and after.

Love love love this waterfall - Five out of five this was the most beautiful waterfall and relaxing and peaceful place to be. It was so amazing. Everything was smooth. They even have showers for you for after I loved everything about the Sacred place. Thank you so much. Mahalo will definitely come back again.

A good experience. - The falls were lovely, and the staff was friendly. The walk through the Bamboo was nice. My only complaints is that there isn't more hiking to do. I had thought it was going to be a place my wife and I could wander around and then enjoy the falls, but there's really only a short walk and then the falls. You get plenty of time to enjoy the falls and the pool, but having more hiking paths would have been great.

Cost too high - While the waterfall was beautiful, the cost was exorbitant for what you get. The kayaks and other water craft should have been included in the cost as opposed to an additional fee.
