Best way to celebrate our parent’s 60th anniversary! - We had such a lovely day with Kimo! We learned so much history, explored, had a little taste of Hawaii, and he went above and beyond to make us feel special! This is worth the time and cost! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Worth the book! - Dan was a great tour guide! They picked us up right at the cruise port and immediately we got to go to the Japanese garden followed by rainbow falls and then off to the volcanos. Dan even bought so local fresh fruit for us to try. We ended the trip going to the chocolate factory and then a quick trip to the black sand beach! Fantastic experience!

Fantastic - Today we had a fascinating excursion on the Hawaiian island of Hilo. Our driver and guide, Kimo, told us many interesting things. He was friendly and attentive.

Amazing Tour! - Great tour including the Japanese Gardens, Black sand beaches, volcanic and Bug Island Candies. Our driver Dan was extremely knowledgeable and even stopped at a local fruit market where we tasted papaya, dragon fruit, bananas and rambutan. It was definitely an amazing tour. Pickup and drop off tight at our port (Pride of America cruise)

Big Island love - Great trip, good teacher of history, legend, and plantlife. We will come back and hope Kimo is around to continue our education! Mahalo nui loa!

Amazing Hilo volcano national park tours! - An incredible experience with the best tour guide, Kimo. From Rainbow Falls to the lava tubes to the summit of Kilauea. Volcanos, cauldrons and the Volcano House. Kimo was patient, gracious and so knowledgeable. Overall one of the best tours, yet.

Thank you Dan the Man! Erupting volcano!! - Husband and I were there Sept 2nd from the cruise ship. We toured with a small group guided by Dan. The entire tour was awesome! Dan is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Midway through the tour, he provided the group some exotic fruits for us to try (they were delicious, especially the white sugarloaf pineapple!) as well as water bottles and cookies. You can easily tell Dan is passionate about the island and gave us so much interesting info about the history and everyday life there. We got to see the volcano erupting which we will never forget! Shoutout to Dan for taking us to the volcano’s Visitor’s Center to get our National Park Passport stamped for fun! It was not necessarily included in the stops but Dan made sure we got it done! Thank you!! We hope to come back again!

Highly recommend this tour - Very nice tour, I highly recommend it. Kimo was an excellent tour guide, very engaging and knowledgeable. It was a nice overview of sights around Hilo and the Park. My only suggestion would be some kind of amplifying device for narration in the van. We were in the last row of the van and at times it was difficult to hear Kimo.

Great tour around Hilo - This was a fun tour which gives you an overview of Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. We got some great pictures. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Dan is an amazing guide - Firstly its a cool tour. One of those almost "must" activities in Hilo. But Dan the guide really made it. He knew everything about everything and there wasn't a question he couldn't answer. He kept up a steady patter throughout the tour and every he had to say was really interesting. Highly recommended.
