We will meet at the Kawaihae Harbor South Boat Ramp The entrance to the harbor is the next left after passing the Spencer beach park. You will then make an immediate left into a Gate labeled GATE 13, go thru the gate and follow that road until you reach the boat ramp.

Trip to see manta rays - Fantastic trip to see manta rays! Captain G and Eden were both friendly and informed and everything about the trip was smooth and safe! We had quite a bit of time with the rays that came to visit us.

Must Do! Best Experience - Captain G took us to an unpopulated cove that was teaming with Marine life. He provided a guided tour of the reef and knew right where to see many turtles, an array of fish, and a spotted manta ray. We did the two hour trip and loved the whole experience. Captain G had great narrative of island history and lore as we boated out and back. The next day we hiked down to the Captain Cook monument cove where lots of other snorkle boats go. The snorkeling there did not compare at all to what we saw with Captain G. Good hike, but we were so glad we went with Oceanic Patrol.

Amazing private snorkel tour with the most knowledgeable captain... SO GOOD!!! - This was such an incredible adventure! Being on a small private boat with Captain G really is the best way to appreciate the ocean and all its animals around Kona. G is an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guy. His understanding of how to snorkel responsibly and sustainably was what made us want to go with him and he delivered way beyond what we could ever have expected. He explained the various ocean areas, the fish and other animals there, what we could expect to see and not see and why, and he took us to the most pristine coral reefs with exceptionally clear water where there were no other people, just tons of colorful fish and sea life!! It was just incredible. His extensive understanding and knowledge of the area and the animals blew me away, and I work in Ocean Science!! I highly, highly recommend this tour if you are interested in a small, in-depth snorkel experience you definitely will not find anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

Unforgettable & Authentic Whale Watching Experience - Baby humpback whales breaching -This exceeded our expectations! Boat was perfect for seeing the whales & we were so lucky to see so many, every where we looked were whales. Captain G was awesome, chiill, knowledgeable & respectful of these amazing animals. We had never been to Hawaii during the whale season & felt so fortunate to see so many on a calm and beautiful morning. Our kids including hard-to-impress teenagers loved it as well. A wonderful experience to share as a family, thank you Captain G!

Sea turtle and Manta Ray Snorkeling - Did the four hour option tour with Captain G and had a wonderfully time with many sea turtles and large manta rays. Would highlight recommend captain g and his snorkel tour!

Best Hawaii Snorkel Trip - private - If you want to snorkel and have a great personal experience thi so the trip to take!! We were able to swim with the turtles and learn about other sea life and the area. Captian G was with us in the water making sure we knew where to look. Take your u defeated camera. We used a Go Pro. Captain G free drive down to video turtles and fish for us. I attached a picture of the turtle I took. A MUST do experience.

No Show, No Communication - Oceanic Patrol didn't show up for our snorkel tour on June 12 at 7:30am. They never contacted us, and when I tried to call them while we were waiting at Kawaihae Harbor, the phone number provided by Viator didn't work. A boat captain at the harbor said that they may have gone out of business because he hadn't seen them in some time. At least, Viator gave me a full refund, and we were able to join a different snorkel tour ran by Liquid Hawaii.

Cancelled us last minute - We booked it on Tuesday at 1015 and they confirmed rug by away. At 945p later that day, the night before we were meeting at 945am, they send an email cancelling. No phone call, no offer to reschedule. Ruined our day for tomorrow. A phone call with other offers would have been warranted.

Very bad - We were extremely disappointed with this snorkeling company. They failed to show up on time for our tour and did not communicate with us at all. We were forced to cancel our plans, which ruined our day. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
