Private Island Volcano Tour in Hawaii - our tour guide was Igor. We are still talking about what a fantastic time we had on our tour with him! he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and entertained. His passion for what he was doing really shines through and it was the highlight of our trip. We truly appreciate the extra mile he went for us.

We needed a day to recover from this all-day adventure - Olga was our charming and knowledgeable guide for our all-day adventure. Our private tour for four people started at 10:00 AM and didn't get back to our condo until 11:00 PM. You can read about the stops on the website, understanding that they may change due to weather and other factors. Our favorite was South Point - the southernmost tip of the United States - the views from the cliff were spectacular. Unless you happen to go on a day when there is an eruption, don't expect to see the lava geyers shown in the website photograph. The only lava we saw was on a live video braodcast inside the Volcano House restaurant. We opted to have dinner in the Rim restaurant hoping to see the sunset over the volcano, but the weather did not cooperate. If we did it again we would choose the less expensive grill down the hall, as it has the same views. By time we finished dinner it was too dark to see anything else in the park. Starting and hour or two earlier would have been a better option. All-in-all a great excursion.

Best Way for Day Trip to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Our group of 4 older relatives considered booking a bus tour to visit Volcanos National Park, but when we realized that booking a private tour was less than 4 bus tour tickets, we decided to try that. It turned out to be the best decision of our trip as it allowed us to customize what we wanted to do! Rebecca contacted us right away to find out what we were interested in, then followed up with a phone meeting just before the tour to confirm our custom itinerary. She timed everything just right and we enjoyed spectacular views of the eruption, which we realized could start or stop at any time, but we lucked out and we experienced episode 40 lava flows in the late afternoon and during evening dinner at Volcano House from our restaurant window seats! Another advantage to taking this tour was that Rebecca was able to drop us off when parking was tight and then return to get us when we were ready to leave each spot. If we had driven ourselves, it would have been very frustrating to park because people were streaming in from all over the Island to view the eruption, we even met people staying on other islands who flew in for the day just to see it, so parking lots everywhere were packed, not just in the Park. And unlike a bus tour, there was no exact time to leave each stop, we could call our driver and leave early or a little bit later and not worry about being left behind, or getting the "stink eye" from other passengers. But best of all, we enjoyed a safe driver on our long trip back to the Kona coast after dark. Rebecca was a very careful driver and considerate about our comfort on the curvy roads. She also provided many options of music and podcasts of local history and legions to choose from, making the time on the long drive go by faster. So even though we had our own rental car for this trip, booking this private tour was the best decision!

Amazing Tour! - From the moment we met Rebecca, I knew we were in good hands. She's friendly, energetic, and treated us like a member of the family on an exciting day trip. We went all over the island in her car from Kona to Hilo, on to Naalehu in the South, and then back to the volcano at twilight. We saw everything - waterfalls, turtles, street markets, beaches, and amazingly, fresh lava. It was a wonderful day and I'd 100% recommend her if you're interested in getting away from the hotel and touring the big island!

Above expectations - Booking this tour was the best decision we could have made. Igor exceeded all expectations—he provided excellent information about the island of Hawaii, gave us great advice, and adapted perfectly to our schedule and dietary needs. Wonderful tour of the island - We needed to make a change in our scheduling and Rebecca, our tour guide, was very accommodating. She is very knowledgeable about the island and took us to many great sights. We were doing the NCL Pride of America cruise and she picked us up and brought us back near the port. It was a wonderful way to spend the day in Hawaii! Would highly recommend this to get a 6 hour ride around the island!
