Everyone should do this! - Absolutely fantastic day trip to some of the most stunningly beautiful places on Earth. I chose this trip as it hit a lot of spots I hadn't seen on my last, brief trip to the island, including Wai'pio Valley and the botanical garden, both of which sort of blew my mind in very different ways. The waterfalls were great, including a trip to a private falls with the option to swim. Our guide, Stefan, was extremely knowledgeable about the landscape and wild fauna, which especially made the long ride from Hilo back to the Kona side interesting and interactive. If you want to spend some time getting to know parts of the Big Island somewhat more intimately, I highly recommend this trip. I give it every star there is to be had. A+!

We had so much fun - This was an excellent tour. Stephen was great and really took care of us for the day. Shared great info and in all we couldn't have had a better tour through multiple falls and views. We had rented a house a ways away from Kona but pickup was well organized and easy

Day to Remember!! - Derek was our tour guide and this outing was awesome! It’s a great way to get around some of the island and learn. The botanical gardens are stunning, waterfalls are always impressive but the private swim took the cake! Highly recommend this tour for most ages and abilities. I took my almost 10yr old and 60+ year old mom and both handled the walking and traveling well. There are short sections of steep uphill walking in a couple of the locations but you get enough time to take it a bit slow when needed.

Spectacular waterfall tour - This was a great experience and our guide Derek made it even better. He gave us a lot of great information on the drive to the different stops. The waterfalls were beautiful and peaceful to look at. The lunch provided was great! If you really like nature and want to see the sites then you have to do this!

Excellent tour and tour guide - This is an excellent tour that was made great by our guide Drue. Botanical garden stop is a must see and an unexpected pleasure. Wonderful collection of flowers and plants in a great sea side setting. Tour ended with a private swim at a waterfall. Highly recommend for a day’s activity.

For Waterfall Fans - Stefan was a very good guide with excellent stories and knowledge of Hawaiian culture. If you like waterfalls and have a full day, this is a very good tour. The Botanical Gardens are also a great use of the time on this tour.

A+ experience! - Derek is by far the best tour guide I have ever had! Very funny, knowledgeable and thoughtful! We stopped at the Valley of the Kings overlook, absolutely stunning views. We saw 4 different waterfalls, one of which we got to swim in! We visited the Botanical Gardens, which had an ocean view if you walked far enough. All of the different flowers were gorgeous. We had a delicious lunch at a beautiful spot by the ocean. Derek made 2 unplanned stops to a small town with a bakery and coffee shop and also a farmers market because he listens to his clients wants and tries to fulfill them. We were outside in nature more than in the van. It was a long day, but worth every minute! Thanks Derek and Wasabi Tours!

Lotsa falls, flora, fauna, and fun - and did we mention swimming! - Highlight for us was swimming at the Kulaniapia falls. Tour guide Dreu was outstanding, tons of info on the history of the towns we drove thru, the flora and fauna of the districts, and his deep affection for the sugar cane industry (inside tour joke). The botanical gardens were fascinating, be sure to walk all the way down to both ocean viewpoints. There’s a fair amount of windshield time in the morning but be patient, the rest of the day and the stops are worth it.
