Wonderful day seeing the Island ! - We had the best day seeing all the highlights of the island with an amazing guide ! Leon was awesome, a wealth of information on the island and its history. Each stop was a new favorite! We were never rushed, and he answered all our questions, from information about the volcanos to favorite restaurants and thrift stores (which we stopped at before we left and our teenage girls were thrilled) This tour is a must when coming to the Island, our whole family enjoyed it and we would highly recommend it !

Big Island Tour - Leon was a great host and ambassador for Hawaii. The weather did not cooperate during our tour but Leon did his best to make sure we had a 5 star experience.

Fantastic adventure - Excellent experience, got to see a lot of the big island and learned about the culture and history. Our driver was extremely knowledgeable about Hawaii and shared great information with us. He was a pleasure to spend the day with.

Ultimate island experience - This tour was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island. We got to see so much in one day—Volcanoes National Park, Akaka Falls, black sand beaches, and a bunch of other amazing spots we probably wouldn’t have made it to on our own.
The whole experience felt super easy and comfortable. The Mercedes van was really nice (and a lifesaver for a full day of exploring), and having snacks, and water included made everything even better.
Our guide Leon was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the island. The stories and insights about Hawaiian history, culture, and geology added so much depth to the experience. It didn’t feel like just sightseeing; it felt like we were truly connecting with the island.
If you want to see a ton of the island without the stress of planning or driving, this is definitely the way to do it. Would 100% recommend!

Amazing tour and guide! - This is an amazing tour. We laughed a lot, enjoyed gaining knowledge into the history of Hawaii, the culture, plants, and coffee. Seeing the volcano and water falls was the highlight of the day. Let’s not forget, our amazing tour guide, Misha. We highly suggest this tour!

Pretty nice tour - Uno de los mejores tours de mi vida! Honestly, this tour was more than I expected. Leon was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable about everything on the island. He was always making sure we all had the best experience. Quisiera resaltar que la calidad del servicio fue siempre muy familiar y honesta. Great experience with Ohana Tours! - This is an excellent excursion if you want to experience the main attractions of the Big Island all in one day—everything from a coffee plantation with tasting to a stunning black sand beach, volcano views, and beautiful waterfalls. And there’s truly no better way to do it than with Ohana Tours!
The transportation was very comfortable, and the pick-up process was smooth and convenient. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was our guide, Leon. He was incredibly pleasant, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the island. We learned so much about the Big Island’s history, culture, and unique natural features thanks to him.
Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the island. A solid 10 out of 10 experience!

Great Experience and Tour Guide - Although we were supposed to visit Volcanoes National Park and some of the other sites surrounding Kona and Hilo on our recent island tour, weather events prevented access to some locations. However, our guide Leon did an excellent job of providing us with other entertainment and food venues. Leon also provided excellent stories and explanations of island and native history. Even with the rainy weather, the tour was well worth the experience.

Absolutely outstanding!!! - My wife and I recently took our daughter to Hawaii for her birthday. We had never taken a guided tour on any previous vacation, but we took a chance with Ohana tours on the Big Island. Wow, did we make the right choice. Miexia, our guide for the day, communicated thoroughly with us the night before to ensure we were ready for pickup and to answer any questions we had. He was prompt for pickup and delightful from the time we met. He quickly realized our daughter was deaf and special needs and decreed we would have a day she would remember... we were going to have a day for Baylee. He ensured he communicated with her as much as he did with everyone else and asked her what the signs were for many of the things he pointed out along the way. This allowed her to feel included and appreciated.
As our tour progressed, Miexia gave us detailed information that taught us about Hawaiian culture, history and pride. The information was thorough but not rehearsed. It was evident to us that Miexia had an appreciation for who he was and what he did. His knowledge was evident and he answered every question from our group with clarity and followed up to make sure we got the answers we were seeking. The tour never lacked for information, conversation or fun.
Every stop we made had time allotted for us to appreciate what we were seeing without feeling rushed. As this was a Friday tour, it would have been easy for Miexia to hurry through the tour and start his weekend, but that was not the case at all. On the contrary, he inquired to the group about making additional stops along the tour route, which made our day even more memorable.
Our family is greatly appreciative of the time we spent on this tour with Miexia as our guide. It is apparent that he has a strong sense of family, a great pride for his homeland and his ancestors, and strives not only to provide great tours, but to continue perfecting them through feedback and interaction.
I would recommend this company for anyone considering a tour on the Big Island.
