Amazing experience! - This was an AMAZING experience. We went on 1/29/26, and our tour and tour guide were absolutely fantastic! They gave us a tasting experience of some of the things on the farm and showed us around the absolutely beautiful property. Our guide was fun, energetic, and very knowledgeable. This was a great experience!

Tasty tour - It was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide also manages this farm. First, we were able to taste the fruits that we were going to see on the tour. It is so interesting to hear about the intermingling of plant life for their survival. Right now the fruits and herbs are used in recipes to feed the student workers .

Fun Tour - Daisy was a great tour guide and we enjoyed learning about the edible and medicinal plants on the farm. This tour was a great addition to our drive to Honokaa and the Waipio Valley.

Big Island Farms Tour - fascinating introduction to sustainable agriculture on the Big Island - My husband and I had a tour last week at Big Island Farms. We came away impressed with the level of care and stewardship at the farm. Tours are private, which gives visitors a chance to ask as many questions as they'd like. Our guide, Amy, was very helpful and is clearly passionate about her work. It was a lovely way to see something that's a bit off the beaten tourist path. For those interested in sustainable farming, or who are simply fascinated by the amazing flora that thrive on the Big Island, this one-hour tour is a worthwhile activity.

A lot to learn and enjoy here - We enjoyed our time at this farm. They were very accommodating of my wife, who was having knee issues and didn't want to do the full "food forest" tour. The owner gave us a private tour of their new demonstration garden near the office. We did get to enjoy the sample tray of flowers, fruits, leaves, and nuts (see picture). Very informative and friendly staff. They even offered my wife some tinctures that might help with her condition.
