Pokhara (820 m) - Nayapul (1,000 m) - Ulleri (2,054m)
Ulleri - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, the operator will pick you up for a drive to Nayapul, situated at 1,000 m, approximately an hour away. The trek begins here, lasting around 6 hours, including a lunch break. The journey takes you through traditional villages and terraced rice fields, showcasing a lifestyle closely connected to the land. The final stretch is the most challenging, involving over 3,200 stone steps leading up to Ulleri at 2,054 m. Although it is demanding, the welcoming lodge, complete with a warm dinner and a restful night, makes it worthwhile.
Ulleri (2,054m) - Ghorepani (2,879 m)
Ghorepani - Today’s trek is more leisurely compared to the previous day’s ascent to Ulleri. The path winds through rhododendron forests, past small waterfalls, and charming bridges. Lunch is enjoyed in Nangethati before continuing to Ghorepani (2,879 m), famous for its blue-roofed houses, where arrival is in the late afternoon. From this vantage point, there is a stunning view of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), the first peak over 8,000 meters on this trek. The night is spent in a cozy lodge, with a delicious dinner awaiting.
Ghorepani (2,879 m) - Poon Hill (3,210 m) - Tadapani (2,590 m)
Poon Hill - An early start allows for a climb to Poon Hill (3,210 m) to witness the sunrise, one of the trek’s most breathtaking moments, with Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, and the entire Annapurna range in view. After breakfast back in Ghorepani, the trek continues through rhododendron forests and alongside wild creeks, leading to Tadapani (2,590 m), where the night is spent in a cozy lodge with a heated common room.
Tadapani (2,590 m) - Ghandruk (1,940 m) - Pokhara (820 m)
Pokhara - The descent passes through rhododendron and oak forests, rich with birdlife, down to Ghandruk (1,940 m), a picturesque Gurung village offering panoramic mountain views. After lunch and some exploration time, the journey continues to Syauli Bazar, followed by a 2-hour drive back to Pokhara.

The trek’s highlight is the early morning ascent to Poon Hill (3,210 m), where trekkers are rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise over the entire Annapurna range, featuring peaks like Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m), Machhapuchhre (6,997 m), among others.
While the trail includes some ascents and descents, it is accessible to anyone with basic fitness. The climb to Ulleri, with its over 3,000 stone steps, is the most challenging section. Although it requires effort, the experience is truly rewarding.
