Bhaktapur and Narangkot - This was a great trip for the 7 of us travelling together from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur and Narangkot with Holyland Adventure Tours and Travel in Kathmandu, Nepal near the Devo Hotel in the Thamel district. We were collected on time from our hotel and driven to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which was very interesting and was made up of many elements including pottery and arts and crafts which showed the traditional way of working. You really needed a guide to see all this but would recommend at least 2hrs (expect to pay approx 900NR pp) for a guide. We then were taken up the mountain to Narangkot for a sunset tour which although was difficult to see through the crowds, was a great view from a mountain bar which made its own signature cocktails very cheaply (approx 500NR each). Great trip inexpensive and worth a visit.
