Established in the 11th century, it is one of the oldest monasteries near Sofia. Locally known as the Royal Monastery, it was frequently visited by King Ferdinand during his reign. Today, the Divotinsky Monastery remains an active male monastery.
- Bankya - Following the monastery visit, you will have free time in the center of Bankya for a lunch break, after which you will explore the fully restored Royal Baths Resort, where you can enjoy 3.5 hours of relaxation.
The mineral water from Bankya has been renowned for over a century! The bathhouse was a favored retreat for Bulgarian kings, who left rejuvenated by the healing properties of the water. The Royal Baths Resort was officially opened on May 24, 1911.
The thermal zone features a pool with mineral water (35-37°C), mineral showers and massage jets, mineral water pools, and a tepidarium.
