- Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - Visit the last residence of the Virgin Mary at Mount Solmissos.
- The Temple of Artemis - The Temple of Artemis was constructed on sacred grounds for the Greek goddess Artemis, the twin of Apollo and daughter of Zeus and Leto. She symbolized abundance, hunting, and nature. The temple offered refuge, safety, and comfort to citizens. Recent archaeological findings indicate that a flood destroyed the original Temple of Artemis.
- Bibliotheque de Celsus - The Celsus Library is one of Ephesus’s most stunning structures. Built in 117 A.D., it served as a monumental tomb for Gaius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, the governor of the province of Asia, commissioned by his son Galius Julius Aquila. Celsus’s grave was beneath the ground floor, opposite the entrance, with a statue of Athena above it, as Athena was the goddess of wisdom.
- Isa Bey Mosque - The Isa Bey Mosque is a significant example reflecting the end of the Seljuk Empire period in the late 14th century A.D. This mosque also bears the influence of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, a key Islamic center for scholars. The marble and tiles create a harmonious visual feast for visitors.
