Besisahar - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or the airport and driven to Besisahar by bus (6 hrs). Following this, a 3-hour trek to Nadi will take place, passing through charming villages, lush farms, and scenic rivers and mountains. Overnight accommodation will be in Nadi (1000 m).
Trek from Nadi to Jagat (5 hrs /1100 m)
Jagat - Embark on a 5-hour trek from Nadi to Jagat, crossing the Marsangdi River, encountering waterfalls, quaint villages, and terraced farmland. A suspension bridge will be crossed, offering views of Manasalu and numerous other mountain peaks. Overnight stay in Jagat (1100 m).
Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (8 hrs/1960 m)
Dharapani - The trek from Jagat to Dharapani takes 8 hours. A bridge near a lake will be crossed to enter the Manang District. The journey continues through fields of barley, rice, and potatoes to the village of Kodo and Dharapani, one of the larger villages in the Manang Valley. Overnight stay in Dharapani.
Trek from Dharapani to Chame (6 hrs/ 2710 m)
Chame - The trek from Dharapani to Chame lasts 6 hours, traversing steep forest ridges. Trekkers will be rewarded with views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. The day concludes with a visit to small hot springs after a challenging trek. Overnight stay in Chame.
Trek from Chame to Pisang (6 hrs/3300 m)
Pisang - The trek from Chame to Pisang follows a steep and narrow path through a dense forest until reaching a dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. Arrive at the U-shaped valley of Manang, nestled between two giant snow peaks. Overnight stay in Pisang.
Trek from Upper Pisang to Manang (3500 m/7 hrs)
Manang - Trek from Upper Pisang to Manang via Geru, enjoying outstanding panoramic views of mountain peaks such as Annapurna and Pisang Peak. Experience the contrasting landscape as the trek approaches a harsher and barren region due to the cold and dry climate. Visit Barge Monastery, the largest in the entire Manang district. Overnight stay in Manang.
Manang (3500 m/ 3 hrs)
Manang - This is an acclimatization day, with a short walk to higher altitudes to aid acclimatization. It’s important to remain active at this stage of the trek. Visit Bhojo Gompa or Gangapurna Lake. Take an easy excursion to a village called Vraga to see its monastery and the Himalayan Rescue Association, where more can be learned about mountain sickness. Overnight stay in Manang.
Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4100 m/4 hrs)
Yak Kharka - Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka by crossing a stream to the village of Tenki above Manang, then continue climbing out of the Marshyangdi Valley along the Jarsang Khola Valley. Pass through pastures, juniper trees, and the small village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs. Trek through meadows where horses and yaks can be seen grazing. Cross a small river on a wooden bridge, then traverse up the ancient Mani wall to reach Yak Kharka, another small village. Overnight stay in Yak Kharka.
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4600 m/4 hrs)
Trek from Throng Phedi to Thorong La (5416 m) to Muktinath (3800m/8 hrs)
Muktinath - Trek from Thorong Phedi to Thorong La, starting early to cross the famous high pass, Thorong La, the highlight of the trek. Walk along the icy high-altitude trail while enjoying the mesmerizing Himalayan scenery. Begin the slow descent to Muktinath, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, showcasing Nepal’s religious harmony. Overnight stay at Muktinath.
Trek from Muktinath to Tatopani (3135 m/4 hrs)
Tatopani - Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (4 hrs) and then take a bus to drive along a plateau above the Kali Gandaki, the world’s deepest gorge. Arrive at Tatopani, where weary muscles can be relaxed in hot spring pools. Overnight in Tatopani.
Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara (1400 m/4 hrs)
Pokhara - Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara by bus (4 hrs) and be dropped off at the hotel in Pokhara.
