An activity worth the trip - A great cultural experience that offers us an excellent perspective on Acadian life in the 19th and 20th centuries. The characters on the site are welcoming and knowledgeable. We did the gastronomic experience where we were able to taste many delicacies of the era. The guide was knowledgeable, professional, and most pleasant.

A really great way to learn about the Acadian people and their culture. - We visited the Acadian History Village for about 4 hours while staying in Caraquet, NB. If you want to learn about the history of the Acadian people and their culture this is a great place to do it. The village is really well maintained and the layout is easy to follow. There are plenty of place to stop and rest or get a bite to eat and a coffee. All of the guides are super knowledgeable and helpful. Although we do not speak French all of the guides at the village spoke excellent English so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything.

Nice experience - A beautiful place to visit. The route adorned with buildings and characters in period costume that tells the origin and history of the inhabitants of the time. Several amenities are available in different places along the route (nibble, water and toilet). Don't forget to plan mosquito repellent, it's a must if you want to enjoy your visit.

Very nice experience - Great day! A real living museum where people immerse themselves in the old times to fully understand the life of old. Plan a lot of mosquito hunting.

Unavoidable - This site is a must for delving into the history of Acadia and the Acadians. You will go back in time during the walk and the different types of buildings scattered in nature with volunteers present in uniform to tell you about their lives and their activity. On the other hand, watch out for mosquitoes, which are very present in August!

Remarkable quality-price experience! I recommend - Very nice experience on a well reconstructed site. Impressed by the investment of the extras who are keen to bring their era back to life. Remarkable quality-price experience. I also recommend eating at La table des ancestors to rediscover dishes from yesteryear.
