- Bermuda - Join this exciting and popular tour starting at the cruise port for a guided exploration of Ketchikan. The journey takes you to Clover Pass Resort, one of Alaska’s oldest fishing resorts. Here, you’ll meet your captain and first mate before boarding a 29-foot vessel. Prepare for an incredible sea adventure as your captain navigates through bays and inlets, providing a guided tour of the land, air, and sea.
During the sail, you’ll witness the rich wildlife of southeast Alaska, including eagles, porpoises, and seals. From May to September, whale sightings are common throughout the tour. The route passes by the Back Island Naval Facility and into the heart of Grant Island State Marine Park and Silverking Lodge. At the lodge, you’ll find plenty of activities, such as using the underwater dock camera and observing anglers’ catches. Silverking’s exclusive elevated boardwalk trail offers a walk into the typically inaccessible rainforest, revealing secrets like Old Man’s Beard and nursery trees. At the trail’s end, have your camera ready for the largest known red cedar in the Tongass National Forest.
Return to the lodge for a seafood boil featuring Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, corn, garlic, pearl onions, and French bread. Finally, visit the gift shop to purchase souvenirs and place a pin on the world map to mark your home.
