After going down the cliff by a path, we must climb 241 step in order to get to San Juan ermitage. The views are impossible to forget. - Bermeo - The most important seafaring town in Biscay, full of life and interesting history. A walk through the old town will take us to the port.
- Mundaka - Small town where we’ll enjoy beautiful views of Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Very famous among surfers around the world thanks to his perfect left wave.
- Gernika-Lumo - A very important town for the basque people. Here we’ll visit the “Board House” where it’s located the famous Gernika tree. Here we’ll find out about the history and traditions of the Basque Country. We can see the “Gernika” reproduction, the famous Piccasso’s picture.

The northern coast of the Basque Country. - This was one of the best excursions we have ever taken. The itinerary was out of this world and Jose Luis was so professional and friendly. He was punctual and gave us information throughout the entire day. He knew where and when to go in order to avoid the crowds and show us the best of the places we visited. It was an absolutely outstanding day. We learned so much about the Basque Country, their history, customs, culture, their respect for nature and their traditions. At the end of the day we felt a good friend had picked us up and showed us around. Highly recommended excursion. Thank you so much Jose Luis! We will never forget this day!

Best day in the Basque country - We did the Biscay tour with Jose today. It was a private tour just for us and it was one of the best days on our trip! Jose is very knowledge and passionate about the traditions and history of Basque country. He didn't feel like a tour guide, he felt like a local friend showing us around. The entire experience felt so genuine, comfortable, and fun! We enjoyed every second of it! We couldn't recommend him enough. eskerrik asko, Jose!!!

Unforgettable Day in Basque Country! - AMAZING! Skip the crowds in Bilbao and book this private excursion with Jose, a native who is very knowledgeable about this region and its history. Jose takes great pride in the Basque region and his work as a guide, and it shows. Jose’s lunch recommendation in Bermeo was delightful. Jose provided us umbrellas to keep us dry, and the rain did little to affect our experience. When we were ahead of schedule after making our way through the itinerary, instead of returning us Jose surprised us with an additional stop and even went out of his way to make another requested stop to get food for my son prior to our departure. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! We won’t forget our great memories in Basque Country!

Perfect Day❤️ - There are a lot of similiar trips but this one is unic. There were just me and my son. And Jose. Having Jose as our private guide was simply amazing!❤️We had a wonderful family experience! We spent 2 hours in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, a short stop but enough to enjoy the landscape of Mundaka, lovely walk and lunch in Bermeo and history insights in Gernika. Just a perfect day! Eskerrik asko, Jose! You are great!

Excellent day with Jose! - Loved this tour! Jose makes it feel like you are visiting a friend and they’re showing you the highlights of the area! I don’t remember the name of the restaurant we ate lunch but Jose set it up for us and it was amazing!

COASTAL BASQUE TOUR - This is a great tour for visiting the towns outside of Bilbao. Jose is a fantastic guide. He's a joy to spend the day with, and he's very knowledgeable about the history of Basque country. He met us at the appointed place and drove us to Gaztelugatxe. We arrived early ahead of the crowds and the heat. He never rushed us, so we had plenty of time to descend the cliff and climb the 241 steps to the church and return to the car park. We then visited several other beautiful coastal towns. Jose explained the history of the area and culture. I highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful Scenery and Interesting History - The scenery of this tour is awesome. The stop at San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is unforgettable. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you must do this. Or, if you just enjoy a vigorous and scenic hike, this is for you. The stops at Mundaka and Bermeo were very interesting also. Jose Luis Ugena was a great guide. He was very attentive and adapted the tour to meet our needs. We highly recommend him.
