Mikey was a wonderful guide on the Sachsenhausen tour. - Our Sachsenhausen tour was excellent. Mikey, our guide, was very knowledgeable, gave very detailed historical context for the grounds, victims and perpetrators. You could tell he had great interest in the history and he presented the history in a detailed, yet respectful manner. The grounds are well kept. I give Germany a lot of credit for keeping this history alive in an effort to educate people what humanity is capable of when we spiral into divisive hatred of others to the point of believing them to be and treating them as sub-human. Unfortunately, if this history was not kept alive, it would give power to those that deny it happened and that it can happen again. Such tours should be required for all to educate us on what humanity it capable of and to see what the intolerance that is growing today can lead to.

Unforgettable experience - Visiting the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was a deeply moving and educational experience. Our tour guide, a native English speaker, did an excellent job explaining the complex and tragic history of the site with clarity and respect. Her detailed introduction provided valuable context about the camp’s role during the Nazi era and its impact on both prisoners and the surrounding community.

Highly recommend this tour - Had a great tour with Lewis. He was very knowledgeable, kept us on pace, and shared his subject knowledge with care and concern. We walked quite a bit on this tour. Do grab a bite to eat to take with you, as there isn't any access to food once inside the facility. Not that you will have an appetite, considering the subject matter. Anyhow, a good tour that we recommend, and would certainly recommend Lewis.

Very good tour, 5 stars - Lewis was an excellent tour guide! The best we've ever had! Definitely the best in Berlin! He really knows his way around the public transportation system, no matter which direction we were going, lol! This tour was very serious in nature, and Lewis led us through the sensitive material with compassion and reverence. We were pleased with the tour and would highly recommend. Just a word for the wise: it IS a lot of walking.
