Awesome experience! - Aaron was amazing! He knows what he is talking about and this is why this activity was so interessing! He took his time to explain everything he knows about Sachsenhausen. The informations I learned from him was not heavy even if the WW2 history is a very large topic. He gave me some time alone to visit some parts of the concentration camp. I have no regret!

Best Guide ever - Aaron was very knowledgeable and passed on his wealth of knowledge to our two teenage children. He also went beyond the normal guide duties in showing us the best way back to our hotel.

Highly recommended - I highly recommend this experience as a private tour. My guide for the day was Paul, who was punctual, very knowledgeable on all aspects of the history relating to this tour, and was able to answer any question I had. The train trip out to the site was spent explaining the history and placing the events into context, which made the impact of visiting the site more meaningful. I recommend an early departure (I was picked up at 0830), meaning you get out to the site by about 1000 when there is hardly anybody else there. Note that there is about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station to Sachsenhausen, therefore I recommend dressing appropriately for the conditions on the day. We discovered when we got out there (no fault of the tour company) that all the buildings are closed on Monday’s during the winter months. It is, however, possible to see in through the windows to get a sense of what occurred. Despite this, we were able to wander freely around under Paul’s expert guidance. The whole tour took about five hours and I was returned back to my hotel. All in all, the tour was efficient, well organised and very informative.

One of our best day trips from Berlin! - Very interesting and informative visit! Paul was a great guide. He had an in-depth knowledge that was well beyond the basic facts of what happened there, and had a lot of suggestions of books and movies that would help us learn more. We liked that it was a private tour, as it seemed that we were visiting with a friend and it afforded us the opportunity to move at our own pace, focus on the areas that were of the most interest to us, and allowed us time to have our questions answered.

Del Rosario Family trip - . This was a somber tour but full of uniquely informative. We gained a historical perspective not typically known by most. Our guide was stupendous! Worth every penny. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our requests which made the tour just perfect! I recommend hotel pick up even though it’s not what Americans call hotel pick up. Having your guide walk you through the various modes of transportation there and back was extremely stress frer

A place that must be visited - Possibly with the Canadian guide Chris. It’s not easy to guide people that barely know the history of nazi regime. What happened here is still object of study and not completely clear. Chris gives you the right key to understand the place and what happened. My sons and my wife were captured by the visit.

Deeply moving and informative - Our trip with our guide Paul was very informative and deeply touching. The grounds have an energy that is truly hard to put into words. We enjoyed our guide and his knowledge and even though it is a glance at the unspeakable evil that spread through Germany and other countries, it is important to educate our children about history so that they can prevent these types of things happening again.
