In collaboration with a local guide, participants will delve into the history of East Berlin, blending its historical and modern identity by visiting significant sites such as Tränenpalast, Checkpoint Charlie, and contemporary venues like the East Side Gallery. Participants will explore the historic landmarks of this renowned area, witness where the Berlin Wall once stood, and uncover hidden gems like local flea markets and independent bookstores, all of which have played a role in transforming an area once marked solely by the remnants of WWII.
