Look for the sign "Reederei Hadynski". The ship is on the river and arrives 25 minutes prior. Other companies use our pier too, you can’t take these. Live moderation (Ger./Engl.) is only guarateed for the tour you booked. The tour starts on time. Boarding closes 5 minutes prior.

Nice overview of the city - Nice "first thing to do" after arriving in Berlin. Provided a good overview of the city and it was nice to have a very good, live guide on the boat, instead of a recording. Good value.

Short and sweet but detailed Tour - The tour was short and sweet but not lacking detail. The host was able to switch between German and English with no issue. It was nice to get a view of the city that's hard to see from the roads/sidewalks

Fun and fact-filled presentation - Obviously limited to what you can see from the river in 1 hour, but well done! Our guide/narrator, Andreas, had a dry and witty sense of humor that aided his fact-filled and resourceful presentation. We arrived early and asked to join the next tour that was about to start--no problem at all. There is little or no signage where the pier is, but if you rely on GPS to get there you'll find it easily. Took my teenager on the tour and she loved it. Can't ask for a much better reaction than that.

Good for an orientation of the city with excellent guide. - Having had poor experiences of such trips in the past, my expectations were not high. However, the fact that the guide was a real person rather than a recorded commentary was a significant plus. He spoke in both German and English, but it was easy to follow. The boat was fully enclosed and warm, which was a significant bonus on a dank Berlin morning.

Good just a few quirks compared to other countries river rides - Boat was warm tour guide was funny just wish you could walk around on boat while receiving tour. Gets very crowded but overall good experience

Got burnt and left to sort myself out - The waiter dropped a hot chocolate all over my lap and arms. Usually I would be like, oh well it's an accident but he left me covered in hot chocolate which burnt my right leg. I thought he had gone to get a cloth or wipes so I could clean myself up but he just carried on servicing others on the boat. After 5 minutes when people around me was shocked by his behaviour I went to find him and he said go clean up in the toilet. Whilst cleaning myself up he went to my wife to charge is for the hot chocolate. I and others around me were shocked! As this happened only 15 minutes into the trip the whole experience for me and my wife was ruined by the lack of compassion and hospitality.
