Must do when in Berlin - This tour was excellent. I learned a lot more about Berlin just sitting on the bus. The tour guide was excellent and professional. This is a must tour when in Berlin. Visiting the concentration camp and the way they lived and the things that happened there really put it into perspective and it was deeply felt.

Serious History, Expertly Guided - This was a deeply moving and thoughtfully curated day. My daughter and I spent the day visiting the concentration camp memorial and Potsdam, guided by Whalid, who was exceptional. He was highly knowledgeable, sensitive to the gravity of the sites, and able to explain the complex historical layers of Berlin and Germany with clarity and care. What stood out most was how attuned he was to our pace and needs — never rushed, always respectful, and willing to tailor the day so it felt both manageable and meaningful. An important, educational experience that we will carry with us.

Walid was a great guide - Walid was a great guide and took special care of everyone to ensure the needs of everyone was met, kept us informed and had a great sense of humour. It's not a Berlin tour, but as an extra we were given an overview as we passed through. We spent a good amount of time in each place and enjoyed our day. We were in off-season so was a small English-speaking group on a bus with an equally small Spanish speaking group - the two (Walid in English and the Spanish tour guide) did a great job at sharing the speaking back-and-forth (which was explained at the outset) and I'm confident we didn't miss a thing. Highly recommended! Do this trip

Must Do - The tour was really well planned. You get to visit the camp, the beautiful Potsdam, and when on the way back you will have a city tour on the coach. None of my time was wasted on that day.
Special thanks to Peter, our guide. He was so friendly and caring. He delivered the best day tour I had ever had. Informative and professional. 5 stars for Pete.
For a reasonable price you have transportation, professional guide and 2+ attractions, it’s a no-brainer

Fantastic tour packed with interesting info - The whole trip was fantastic, so organised and informative, our guide Yorg was brilliant at explaining things in an engaging way. The sites were as expected with Sachsenhausen a grim reminder of the past and what can happen when society breaks down enough to enable dictatorship. There are lots of exhibitions and my one critique would be a bit more time was needed to look at those.
The palace was a wonder to see even in the winter and has encouraged us to return in the summer to see the gardens at their best.
We highly recommend this tour.

Sanssouci ? - The meeting place is by the World Clock at Alexander Platz at 9.30 and you are asked to arrive 20 minutes early ; there's different tours leaving from there, so it can be a bit confusing. When our guide York arrived, it turned out that our bus had broken down, so we all scattered again to reconvene about an hour later. These things happen - nobody's fault.
We finally departed and it takes a solid hour to drive to Sachsenhausen. York enlightened us about some historical background on the way. Sachsenhausen is a depressing place, but you know that beforehand. I think it is important to visit, but feel that 2 hours there could be shortened considerably and spent at Sanssouci instead.
I had really high expectations about our visit to Sanssouci ; I was well read about Frederick The Great and wanted to explore his palace. It turned out that was NOT included in this tour ! We arrived at the back of the palace, walked around to the front, then exited through the garden . . . no entrance hall, no marble hall, not even time to see the Chinese House in the garden ! The whole Sanssouci walk took less than an hour. I was terribly disappointed.
We then proceeded to the center of Potsdam, a lovely town, where we had about an hour free time before heading back ; and it was even more pleasant because the main street was one large Christmas Market.
I fee entry into Sanssouci should have been included.

The tour itself was good.... - The tour itself was good. I already knew we wouldn't have a lot of time at both location so we knew the tour would feel rushed. However Roshana made this tour awful , a lot of us were very confused by her organization and the amount of information that was provided was minimal. I speak some Spanish so I could tell the Spanish guide went into so much more detail, explained the plan, and was thorough. But she one left us all confused by what the plan was, time management, and she struggled even with explaining basic history. It was even worse towards the end of the trip where she kept running off, rushing people, and we were left confused by what we were even doing. What was even more bizarre, she kept trying to send people away to a random cafe then take others to explore more areas. Her time management is awful. We were running late in both the camp memorial and the old town we just most of the time chasing after her. Since I already read the reviews previously I knew what to expect with the difference between Spanish and English group. But this was way worse than I expected. If we have a different guide, the rating would be higher. Unfortunately Roshana made it fully unenjoyable.

Awful customer service - Awful customer service and empathy. We missed this trip due to being unable to find the meeting place. No effort to call us and help us find it. Zero opportunity offered to re-book or offer a refund. Just took our money and ran basically. Really disappointed in how this was handled.
