Do not miss this tour !!!! - This is a perfect example of a tour that exceeds your expectations. Cliff is a passionate guide who will teach you (more than you might think) about German beer, about microbrewery culture, and about how this culture is taking root in Germany. The experience is unique, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to venture off the paths usually taken by tourists. There is no chance that you will regret it. Enjoy the tour!

Local knowledge and passion - We had a superb time learning about the history of beer brewing both generally as well as specifically in Germany and Berlin. Great local knowledge and experience, shared in a thoughtfully curated way. Highly recommend for tourists but also for folks living in Berlin who seek great insights into the unique craft brewing scene here.

Great craft beer tour in Berlin - Great authentic Berlin experience, and great beers as well. Cliff (the owner) has a wide knowledge about beers and the city's history, and everything is explained in plain English. The explanations are "alive" and are being adapted to the visitors knowledge, and he even found me beers according to my taste. Great tour, highly recommended.

A fun, relaxing, cool time with beer. - My boyfriend and I just completed a 2-week European vacation. Along the way I was looking for various activities in the cities we visited. We both love beer and as we had previously been to Berlin, had already seen the typical tourist spots. I found this tour had high ratings so we went for it. Cliff was awesome! We met at a funky pizza place and got to try unique slices (including black pudding), along with Cliff’s beer pairing. Both the pizza and beer was excellent. Cliff discussed the beer-making process along with the unique history of beer in relation to Germany. We moved on to another spot where Cliff selected beers for us based on our preferences. His choices for us were spot on! We walked/talked through some eclectic neighborhoods to our third stop where we had a flight of 3 beers and learned more about this history of beer. We ended up with a private experience which made it even better. We saw areas which I don’t think we would’ve went to or known about on our own, which made me love Berlin even more. Would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic journey into…..beer! - The history, the ingredients, the tricks of tasting…..the BEER!! Cliff was off the charts knowledgeable and not just about beer, he picked a winning combo with the pizza choice to start! Awesome tour and we walked away with a huge amount of info and a great memory!

Excellent tour of craft beer and it’s history - Very knowledgable and personable. Easy going tour of great locations starting with delicious pizza. Also got a few good local recommendations for food and drink. Really liked that Cliff matched our beers with what we liked.

What a guide! What an experience! - Okay. Me and my love just got home from our Berlin trip, celebrating his birthday, a wonderful week. Buuut, we can´t stop talk about this tour. Wow. We genuenly felt that this was the best part of the trip. My partner who already knew a great deal about beer felt that it was so much fun, interesting and he learned a lot. Me who knew only a little was positively surprised that this was interesting and joyful. But I can not (!!) mention anything that was bad. What a guide Cliff is! Such passion to the subject and keen to us as an audience, he had the best energy. We also learned a lot about the city, history and so much more! So no doubt, if you ever stumble upon this tour. beer, pizza, knowledge! - I took my friend on this tour and we had a great time. Cliff is as knowledgeable as he is friendly. I enjoyed being able to taste the raw ingredients and learn a bit about how to discern them in the beer itself.
