- Berlin Central Station - The adventure starts at the meeting point on the southern side of the contemporary Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Main Station). After a brief ten-minute introduction to set the context, the group proceeds to the Moltke Bridge.
- Moltkebrucke - This ornate red sandstone bridge was the site of some of the city’s fiercest battles. Here, the group aligns with the Soviet 3rd Shock Army’s axis of advance and discusses the significant challenges faced by both the Soviets and the German defenders.
- Bundeskanzleramt der Bundesregierung - After crossing the Moltke Bridge, the group arrives at the former Interior Ministry, known as the “Himmler House” in the old diplomatic quarter. Following a Soviet artillery barrage at close range, the group discusses the intense room-to-room combat that occurred here.
- Platz der Republik - Moving into ‘no man’s land,’ the group stands on the former Königsplatz and considers the 300-meter expanse the 207th and 150th rifle divisions had to traverse before reaching the Reichstag.
- Reichstag Building - As the group approaches the Reichstag, they discuss Hitler’s final moments in the Führer bunker, located just a few hundred meters away. Upon reaching the base of the Reichstag, the group hears the stories of Sergeant Yegorov and Sergeant Kantariya and how they raised special banner No.5 on the roof, marking the end.
- Weidendammer Brücke - In the final days of the Battle of Berlin, the Weidendammer Bridge was one of the few remaining intact bridges over the Spree. On the night of May 1st, 1945, it witnessed horrific carnage during a breakout attempt from the Führerbunker.
