• STORESVINGEN FJELLSTOVE - As the bus descends from Vikafjell mountain to Vik, it will pause at the “Storesvingen” viewpoint (approximately one hour from Voss). This spot provides fantastic photo opportunities with breathtaking views of Vik Village and Sognefjorden.

• Hopperstad Stave Church - Vik village boasts a rich cultural heritage. The main highlight is the ornately decorated “Hopperstad Stavkirke” stave church. Built in 1130, it is one of the oldest stave churches, alongside Urnes. There will be a stop at the church.

• Fjord Norway - Enjoy a fjord cruise across the Sognefjord to Balestrand. From the church, a short drive takes you to Vik’s harbor, where the tour continues by boat to Balestrand. The fjord cruise lasts about 30 minutes, and the ticket is included. The boat offers indoor seating and the option to stand outside on deck to admire the stunning scenery.

• Balestrand - Upon arrival in Balestrand, lunch will be served at a restaurant, and it is included in the ticket.

• The Cider House - Cider Tasting and Shop - The Cider House is a family-operated micro cidery (winery) located in an organic orchard with a variety of fruits. They produce ciders, fruit wines, and brandy.

At The Cider House, a family member will guide you through their organic orchard, explaining how they transform fruit and berries into juice, cider, fruit wine, and brandy. You’ll learn about their exclusive sparkling cider made using the “méthode traditionnelle” (Champagne method).

The program concludes with five cider samples in the restaurant, with non-alcoholic options available.

• Balestrand - After the cider tasting, there will be approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes of free time to explore Balestrand, which offers several other attractions.

The bus will transport you from The Cider House back to the center of Balestrand.

Alternatively, you can take a cultural walk along the picturesque road by the fjord. Information posters and maps along the route provide insights into Balestrand’s history as a tourist destination and art village.

Back at the pier in Balestrand, the same boat will return you to Vik. From Vik, the tour continues by bus to the magnificent Tvindefossen waterfall.

• Tvindefossen - Tvindefossen waterfall stands 110 meters tall and is a popular tourist attraction. There are numerous myths associated with Tvindefossen, and the guide will share some of them. Most visitors find the waterfall impressive, as you can walk close to the water.
