Highly Recommended - Thank you Maria for a fabulous tour. Maria was very knowledgeable and really brought the history to life. She gave us some tips for places to eat which we did that night and proved a great recommendation.

A lovely walk leaving you with local knowledge. - A wonderful walk through Bergen with our personable and very knowledgeable guide Janine. We left feeling like we had a good understanding of the local history, how the locals live both today and in the past. Janine had interesting antidotes and personal stories which added a new dimension to the tour. I would highly recommend.

Walking city tour with Eirik - We enjoyed listening to the stories Eirik told us of Bergen’s history as we walked the beautiful streets. Eirik was an amazing guide- patient (we have a 6 year old!), personable, friendly and very knowledgeable. The group size was also small, just us family of 3 and another couple. Great experience overall!

Having fun learning about Bergen - The tour was very interesting, we learned about the history of Bergen strolling around the city centre. The weather was terrible and we were a small group of 3 but Serena guided us with dedication! 😊 She has a lovely personality and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Jeff’s Bergen history tour - A bit unlucky not experiencing one of Bergen’s 125 fine days/year. But I was riveted through Bergen’s streets

Great tour and guide - Serena was waiting at least 20 minutes before the tour was due to start and was really engaging with all the tour members. She obviously knows the city well and gave the information in a well presented manner with some great humour. She was also able to give some great tips for cafes and restaurants

An outstanding introduction to life in Bergen past and present with wonderful Anais! - Anaïs was the most amazing guide! Despite the gale force winds and pelting rain she found sheltered spots for us to stop and learn about the history of Bergen and Bryggen. She is extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining with an engaging style of narrative and a great sense of humour. As well as history we visited a beautiful neighbourhood, climbing up the steep cobbled streets to admire the exquisite wooden houses and learn about their construction and the importance of living on the sunny side of the city. I left with a list of restaurants and cafes to try, vintage shops to explore and many places to revisit for a closer look. I cannot recommend this tour too highly.
