Guided by a local Foodie, participants will follow a secret itinerary within the Città Alta walls, exploring bold flavors and delicate aromas, from the roots of Lombard cuisine to the modern Bergamo food scene.

• Palazzo e Giardini Moroni - Fondazione Museo di Palazzo Moroni - The tour begins with a classic aperitivo, featuring toasted bread slices topped with a variety of local garnishes. Each bite is perfectly paired with a glass of Valcalepio red wine, allowing participants to savor the rich flavors of the region and set the tone for the culinary journey ahead.
• Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore - Next, the tour moves to the second stop. In one of Bergamo Alta’s most charming restaurants, traditional casoncelli or Foiade, a classic Sunday dish of the local tradition, will be savored, offering the authentic flavors that have been enjoyed in the region for generations.
• Piazza Vecchia - The tour will stroll past Piazza Vecchia and arrive at the next stop, where the famous polenta with lard and cheese will be tasted, a hearty and traditional dish that perfectly represents Bergamo’s rich culinary heritage.
