• Explore Eagle’s Nest - This is where the tour begins (Salzbergstrasse 45, 83471, Berchtesgaden, Germany).

The knowledgeable guide will greet participants at the top of the stairs, beneath the blue and white flags, at the Eagle’s Nest bus departure point.

The tour will commence with a detailed account of the history of the Obersalzberg mountainside, an area that was a vast compound during the National Socialist era. Participants will learn why this location was pivotal and how it became significant to Hitler during the Nazi regime.

The introduction will be enhanced with a collection of historical photographs to help visualize the grand structures that once formed the extensive Alpine headquarters.

• The Eagle’s Nest - Participants will travel with the guide in specially designed mountain buses along the private road to the Eagle’s Nest.

The guide will provide a tour of the historic building, highlighting many original features that remain, including the renowned brass elevator, and explaining the remarkable construction of Hitler’s mountaintop masterpiece.

The tour offers plenty of opportunities for photography, questions, and some free time to explore the Eagle’s Nest independently.

Since the Eagle’s Nest is now a restaurant, there will also be a chance to enjoy a quick meal or a Bavarian beer.

The tour includes approximately 1 hour of free time after the guide has shared all historical insights. This duration is flexible and can be extended (at no extra cost) if participants wish to spend more time at the Eagle’s Nest.
