Wonderful! - We met Daniel at our hotel to go on a walking tour of Berat. Daniel shared with us lots of historical facts of the city as well as the country, while pointing to us the different landmarks. He was also extremely helpful, going above and beyond, for example helping us navigate our car through the narrow streets, fetching a ride for us at late night. The views of Berat from the castle top, with the mountains in the background, and river Osum flowing through the middle of the city, as the sun sets is breathtaking.

Fantastic tour - So interesting, and fantastic having a local showing you the best places to go and the history of the area. The walk up the hill to the castle was fun, but definitely not for everyone! Worth it though, so take comfy shoes and water.
