• Berat Castle - Begin the tour at the castle area. Exploring ‘Kala’ requires a steep walk up a cobblestone path, but reaching the top offers a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.
• National Iconographic Museum Onufri - Visit the Onufri Museum of Iconography, named after the famous fresco and icon painter Onufri, who left a significant legacy. Admission is included.
• Cathedral Assumption of Saint Mary - Explore the Museum of Iconography ‘Onufri’, named after the celebrated fresco and icon painter Onufri, who left a rich legacy. Admission is included.
• Ruins of the Red Mosque - Discover the Red Mosque, which, according to Ottoman explorer Evliya Çelebi (1611-1682), was constructed during the reign of Bayazid II. Likely built in the 15th century, it is one of the country’s oldest mosques, probably erected shortly after the Ottoman conquest of Berat in 1417.
• Kisha Shen Triadha (Holy Trinity Church) - Visit the Holy Trinity Church, a medieval Byzantine church and UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on a hill in the city. Admission is included.
• Berat - After enjoying a lunch, included within the fortress, visit the Mangalemi quarter to view the iconic image of houses “glued” to the hillside.
• Osum - Across the Osumi River is the Gorica neighborhood, where houses face those of Mangalemi. The Gorica Bridge, built in 1780, is a stunning architectural monument connecting Gorica with Mangalemi.
