Bentota - Begin your journey at 0700 hrs from your hotel in Bentota. A designated chauffeur guide from Lakpura Travels will greet you. After completing the hotel formalities, you will be escorted to your air-conditioned vehicle to proceed to Ramboda.

Afterwards, visit a Tea Factory and plantation to see how the world-renowned “Ceylon Tea” is produced. In 1824, a tea plant was brought to Ceylon by the British from China and planted in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya for non-commercial purposes. James Taylor, a British citizen, introduced commercial tea plantations in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Today, even those unfamiliar with Sri Lanka recognize Ceylon tea for its quality.

Nuwara Eliya - Then, proceed to the town of Nuwara Eliya.

Later, explore the highland city that was the premier holiday resort town for the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy strolling through the streets with their charming cottages, quaint villas, and beautiful mansions. Create a memory at the old red-bricked post office by purchasing an inexpensive and colorful postcard to take home or send to friends. Relax at Queen Victoria Park or along the shores of Lake Gregory.

Upon completion, return to the hotel and rest for the night.

Horton Plains National Park - Early in the morning, head to Horton Plains National Park for a delightful hike.

Visit the beautiful Horton Plains National Park in Ohiya, with its montane grasslands and cloud forests. Bentota - After completing the trek, return to the hotel, relax, check out, and proceed to your hotel in Bentota.
