• Bentota - Begin your snorkeling adventure from the Diving Center in Bentota at 7:30 am. Alternative timings can be arranged, but the visibility of the sea floor decreases as the day progresses. Additionally, many sea creatures retreat into shady crevices out of sight as the sun rises higher. The boat ride to the prime snorkeling location in Bentota will take up to 20 minutes.
  Snorkeling involves swimming with a diving mask and snorkel tube. Fins are often worn on the feet as well. The snorkel tube enables the swimmer to breathe comfortably while keeping their face submerged. This activity allows for viewing the ocean floor and vibrant marine life, among other wonders.
  While snorkeling in Bentota, you will encounter stunning sights such as vibrant living corals, large silver-blue schools of small fish, hermit crabs peeking out for prey, beautiful anemones that conceal danger, fearless clownfish wandering among the strands, and much more. Bringing an underwater camera will allow you to capture some fantastic photos as well.
