A great place to see a wide range of wild animals & birds from around the world mostly in open enclosures. - A great place to take the whole family for a day out. The animals & birds are mostly in large open enclosures in multiple settings . We enjoyed the spectacular bird of prey show which is free to watch. Well worth a visit if you love seeing a wide range of animals & birds from around the world. There are plenty of places around the park to stop and have drinks & food.

Average Zoo Visit - The location of this zoo isn’t really an idea location. I stayed in Benidorm and it was an hour walk. There is a bus route 15 and 42 but they come every hour but it’s difficult to navigate where to get on / off at.
Tried to get a taxi but they could not collect you from the zoo as it was out of the zone but seen another taxi there.
The zoo costs £20 from Get Your Guide but €38 at the zoo itself so book online to save some £s.
The zoo itself is smaller than expected. The entrance has a really bad smell even though there are no animals there. You can rent out a buggy / mobility scooter (cant recall the price) if you have mobility issues.
There are some places to eat but they sell the same food. It does say you are not allowed to take your own picnic there (which is silly)
There is a play area for kids. The aqua park was closed when I went.
Some animals look like they are not well looked after. If you need something to do with kids / have nothing planned, this will do but would not go out of my way.
Took around 2 hours for me to go around the whole zoo.

Stressed lions - The lion enclosure is very small! Lionesses passing up & down stressed out; this cats should be in a much bigger enclosure

Not bad for a small zoo. - Not good value for money, between taxis and park entrance price we spent around €100 , Zoo tickets way over priced for a very small zoo. But if your stuck for something to too its ok

Disappointment - The park is beautiful and well kept, but we have not seen half the animals: no capybaras, no tigers, no rhinos, no lions, no yaks, no otters, no foggy panthers. The Asian side was totally empty. My son has come away totally disappointed.
Another note: the parking barrier was open and, when I told the girl at the checkout, she told me that it had to be paid for, that then the beacons would be closed. When we approached to leave, we saw that it did not work... they would know it in box, but that more than charge.
Total, a bittersweet feeling and with the feeling that we have been intentionally teased.

It's a disgrace the conditions of the muntjar with the bats - Animals are usually well fed, there are very small areas such as the panthers and lionesses area that leaves quite a lot to be desired for the type of animal it houses, but the muntjar with the bats that has no name, an animal trying to flee, stressed .. etc. It is a shame as you can have an animal like the muntjar caged in 10 m2 surrounded by huge bats.Notice the stress suffered by the animal , anyone with a minimum of empathy can realize the dismal and shameful conditions in which the animal is.

This place should be shut down! - Terrible zoo!!!
Enclosures are not suitable for the animals. We left feeling sad and angry about the conditions.
We could see monkeys that had clear signs of distress and disease.
5 adult tigers contained in an area which is no larger then a tennis court is disgusting.
Don’t go, you’ll be helping fund the continuation of this facility.
If this place must continue, they should half the number of species and increase the size of the remaining enclosures.
Otherwise, shut it down and donate the animals to zoo’s that can house and support them correctly.
