Everything I hoped it would be - Outstanding guide. Miguel deserves a raise. He was witty, informative, and engaging. Get this dude if you can! Overall you see so much cool stuff. You are challenged mentally and physically. But the payoff is worth it. Seeing remains of another human from over 1000 years ago is quite a different feeling. Enjoy the trip. Enjoy the lunch after!

ATM with Patrick W. - what a duo!!!! - One of my top life experiences, and couldn't have asked for a better guide in Patrick. His experience and knowledge of everything was as impressive as the cave itself. He truly made it the most enjoyable experience, and it was obvious that he was well respected and liked by all the the other guides as well. Great team at Belize Caving Expéditions - lunch was incredible, Eduardo was a great and knowledgeable driver, and service and response of the office was quick. Don't forget to bring socks for the upper cave portion of the experience. This is not mentioned, but is a requirement (no shoes/sandals or bare feet allowed for this portion).

Wow! - Wonderful day!! This company picked us up from the ferry terminal early in the morning and then dropped us off after the tour in San Ignacio which was super helpful. Our guide Eric was fabulous and hilarious. What a crazy adventure. My only advice is to bring lots of snacks and eat a lot before you go because we didn’t have lunch until 4 pm. I can’t recommend this more!

Once in a lifetime experience - Since you can’t take cameras and electronics into the cave, I didn’t have a full sense for this trip. Folks on YouTube talk about it but without the visuals it’s hard to fully grasp. Anyway, it was worth every second that I felt challenged by it. It’s not for the faint of heart.

Experience of a lifetime - We booked with Belize Caving Expeditions for the ATM caves. Our tour guide was Akim, and he was fantastic. This was truly the experience of a lifetime - and I've seen and done a fair amount. If you have the opportunity to go - GO. It's not just morbid curiosity to see the skeletal remains - it's a complete journey through an ancient cave system, learning how caves are formed, following in the footsteps of the Maya, learning about their customs, and why they felt they had to do what they did in these caves. Akim is clearly very excited about his work, and his guidance made this trip what it was. Highly recommend!

Great experience! - The ATM cave trip is well worth making time for on a trip to Belize. We were fortunate to be able to do the tour, since it had been closed due to high water the 3 days before. They packed in extra tours, which made it a bit busy, but our tour guide was great about managing space between groups. The caves were spectacular and the history fascinating. It was a bit more of an adventure inside the cave than I expected from the tour description, with clamouring up (and sliding down) boulders, strong current in a couple places, and squeezing through a couple tight passages, but I managed with a helping hand in a couple places. For most people that added to the experience -- I'm just old and cautious. Our guide, Derrick, was terrific: knowledgable, entertaining and thoughtful. Thank you Derrick!

Amazing tour, amazing guide! - The ATM Cave tour is not to be missed! Our guide, Edward, with Belize Caving Expeditions was truly exceptional! His wealth of knowledge was incredible and his easy demeanor made a challenging tour feel like a walk in the park. Edward has been guiding this cave for 20+ years and it definitely shows!

Bucket List Experience - What an amazing experience exploring the ATM cave. It was challenging and wet but unmissable. I am so glad I put up with a bit of discomfort to explore this extraordinary cave with Mayan artifacts preserved as found. Getting to the magnificent chamber is a feat in itself and I left with a feeling I could tackle any cave after this one!

One of the best experiences in Belize - It was a unique experience! Our guide was very nice and informative, and we were provided a very good lunch at the end of our trip. Recommended!
