Start your morning with the Zipline & Baboon Experience, a thrilling escapade that promises to get your adrenaline pumping. Imagine soaring high above the Belizean savannas, the wind rushing past as you zip through seven exhilarating lines. The thrill of the ride is matched only by the breathtaking views of the lush landscape below. As you navigate adventurous rope bridges and glide over rivers teeming with crocodiles, you’ll feel the rush of adventure coursing through your veins. And the excitement doesn’t stop there. After your ziplining adventure, you’ll have the chance to meet the local ‘Baboons’—the black howler monkeys. Feed them, snap some unforgettable photos, and immerse yourself in this unique wildlife experience.

“Percy was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable of Belizean culture and history. The black howler monkeys were a great experience and the man who showed us around the preserve was also very friendly.” - Reviewed on 2024-12-15

Journey Through Time: Xunantunich Mayan Ruins

As the afternoon sun casts its golden glow over Belize City, it’s time to delve into the rich history of the region. On March 15th, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, embark on a journey to the Xunantunich Ruins, one of the most dominant Mayan cities in Meso-America. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a glimpse into the ancient world, with its towering temples and expansive plazas.

Cross the beautiful Mopan River by ferry and step back in time as you explore six magnificent plazas and 26 different temples. Climb to the top of “El Castillo,” the second tallest man-made structure in Belize, and gaze out at the stunning views of the Guatemalan border. As you wander through this ancient city, your guide will regale you with tales of Mayan mythology and history, bringing the past to life in vivid detail.

“Percy was great. Helped make sure we got to the site before the crowds. Was a wealth of knowledge about the country as we drove to the site and had a great guide set up for at the site. I’ll be booking another trip with Percy on our next trip to Belize.” - Reviewed on 2025-02-10

Embrace the Elements: Weathering the Storm

March 16th brings a change in the weather, with partly cloudy skies and a high chance of strong storms. But don’t let that dampen your adventurous spirit. The Zipline & Baboon Experience is available again from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, offering a thrilling way to embrace the elements.

Feel the exhilaration of ziplining through the rain, the droplets adding an extra layer of excitement to your adventure. The high humidity and moderate winds create a dynamic environment, perfect for those who thrive on adrenaline. And if the weather takes a turn for the worse, have a backup plan ready with indoor activities or a visit to the local rum factory to cap off your day.

Whether you’re soaring through the treetops or exploring ancient ruins, Belize City offers a St. Patrick’s Day weekend filled with adventure and excitement. So pack your sunscreen, embrace the luck of the Irish, and get ready for an unforgettable journey.
