Awesome Experience - 10/10 ⭐️ - My bestie and I met Jim aka Gym 🤣 for this excursion during our birthday trip. This man was incredibly kind, attentive and KNOWLEDGEABLE about the area/ rivers. He guided the tour through Belize City, pointing out interesting facts and landmarks, making the air conditioned van ride to the National Park much more interesting. The park and restrooms were clean and very well maintained. Jim took us on an educational and very easy on the knees (lol), 20-ish minute nature walk through the park and across two rivers before reaching the cave entrance. Jim guided us through the caves, pointed out so many artifacts and really had himself a workout to ensure our comfort and safety through the water. At the end of the tour he provided a HOT lunch and cold beverage. My tips to potential customers: be sure to have thick soled water shoes or rent the $2USD crocs at the park. Also, please be patient with your guide- he is accommodating a few groups of people at the same time while being mindful of our separate plans and cruise departure times. Lastly, some folks in our group added zip- lining and some did not. It only takes literally 5 minutes, so please enjoy your lunch, take in the scenery, or do some shopping with the locals while your guide helps the zip liners enjoy their experience.

Family friendly adventure - Loved our experience. Our guides were knowledgeable and helpful. My only criticism is that Jimmy took another group and was able to give them all the info about the caves, and because we were with another guide, not much information was shared with us. It was fun and even though it rained, we enjoyed it. The lunch was amazing and delicious!

Un-Belizable Day - This was an amazing experience. 5 Star Cave Tubing was very quick with responses when I had questions before we even showed up. When we got off the boat they were very easy to locate. I loved that our group was only 8 people so it felt personalized. Kenton was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about Belize. He was a top notch guide that made the day fun and stress free. The walk was enjoyable and educational. The caves were amazing. The lunch was made by a local and was great. I would 100% recommend.

Amazing! - We had an amazing experience! Even though it was raining we enjoyed it. Tubing down the river was relaxing and the caves were beautiful. Big shout out to our guides- Kenton, Peter, and Tayshon! They took very good care of us. I’m short(5’0”) and they helped me without making me feel awkward. It was a wonderful day!!!

The reason I rated this... - The reason I rated this tour 4 stars is because it was 2 hours delayed. We had to sit and wait on the bus because 11 people of the total 38 guests didn’t get on an early enough tender. Because of this, we did not have lunch until after 3pm, on the bus. We got back to port at 4:45pm and took a 5pm tender back to ship (1 hour before the last option.) Aside from that, this was a very fun tour. The cave tubing felt safe, it was very unique annd fun, and our guides were great. The 20-min hike is with your equipment (large tube, life jacket, and helmet). Or, you can pay $5 for your tube to be carried by a staff member. There are stairs, hills, and you need to have good footing and some stamina.

Caves were fantastic! Operator, not so much. - Let me start by saying we have done this excursion with other operators twice in years past and had a wonderful experience. The caves and river are fantastic and our tube guide William was awesome!! I give this 3 stars because the organization of 5 Star tours was incredibly frustrating! We were told to get off the boat as soon a s we could so we did. Our group of 8 was in the first round of tenders off the ship and were there in time. Found them quickly and were told we would be leaving shortly, just waiting for the bus. We took pictures in front of the Belize signs and waited there. More people showed up and then the bus came. We got into the bus and then waited some more, and waited and waited. Then we had to circle back around to see if another group was getting off the ship. By now it was more than an hour since we met the guide. Then we waited for them longer and didn’t end up leaving until 2 hours after we arrived at the meeting point. Once on the bus, Aaron, the main tour guide was loud and obnoxious most of the ride there. When we finally arrived at the park, there was more chaos and waiting around. Regrouping and telling us we would be going in “just a second”It’s like they had never done this before. Then we felt rushed because the front end took so long. The organization and time wasted was ridiculous!! We had to eat our tamale lunch in the bus on the way back and had no time to wander around Belize (stimulate the economy with shopping) or have a drink before our last tender to the ship. Smaller buses would have been a better idea so as not to punish the 28 people that got to the meeting point on time.
