Guests are met at the port exit of Terminal One, with additional pickups available at hotels. Enjoy a leisurely drive through the city, experiencing the Belizean lifestyle as the guide shares historical and contemporary events that have shaped Belize. Explore both old and new neighborhoods, churches, schools, and street vendors. Discover relics from British Honduras, including colonial mansions, mahogany chips, and vintage rum bottles. Listen to tales of Baron Bliss and Lindbergh Landing. Midway through, there is an optional stop at a local supermarket where visitors can shop at the gift shop or deli for local snacks, beers, soft drinks, ice cream, Belizean chocolate, coffee, and pharmacy items. The tour continues through city neighborhoods, showcasing fruit trees, flowering plants, orchids, birds, iguanas, and possibly a rare crocodile. The journey concludes with a visit to a rum factory for rum tasting, viewing antique rum bottles from the pirate era, and observing historic distillery equipment, before returning to the port.
