Along the way, you’ll see the monument of Ivo Andrić, a Nobel Prize-winning Serbian writer and Serbian ambassador in Berlin at the start of World War II.
Later, to provide a comprehensive experience of the 50-year historical period of former Yugoslavia, you’ll board a trolley, a symbol of public transportation from that era, still in operation.
It will take you to Belgrade’s elite district, Dedinje, known for its embassies and residential villas, as well as the Museum of Yugoslavia complex.
- Museum of Yugoslavia - Dedicated to the life and achievements of Josip Broz Tito, the renowned communist leader celebrated for guiding the country towards a promising future.
In the museum, you’ll find an impressive collection of ceremonial gifts presented to the Yugoslavian President, including a prized gift from the Apollo 11 crew.
The tour concludes with a visit to the mausoleum known as the House of Flowers, where Tito is laid to rest. Thanks to the remarkable collection and storytelling, the final days of the Former Republic of Yugoslavia will be vividly brought to life.
