- Manasija Monastery - Enjoy the stunning scenery during a 1.5-hour drive to the first stop, Manasija Monastery, nestled among the lush hills of the vibrant Resava gorge. Constructed in the early 15th century under the rule of Despot Stefan Lazarevic, the complex is encircled by 12 towers built to protect the Church of Saint Trinity from the Ottomans. The fortification of Manasija Monastery, with its walls and towers, is the best-preserved fortification complex in medieval Serbia. Its frescoes are considered one of the greatest achievements of medieval Serbian art, making the monastery a true gem of Serbian medieval culture.
- Resavska Cave - The tour continues to the 80-million-year-old Resava Cave, discovered by a local shepherd in 1962. It opened to the public ten years later and is now one of the most visited caves in this part of Europe, renowned for its stunning cave formations: stalagmites and stalactites. The tunnels stretch 4.5 km, with over 2 km explored and 800 m accessible to visitors. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 7°C year-round, with humidity levels between 80 and 100%. The cave tour lasts 40 minutes, so wearing warm clothing is advised.
- Vodopad Veliki Buk - Next, the tour proceeds to Lisine Waterfall, a top attraction in Eastern Serbia.
- Krupajsko Vrelo - The journey continues to Krupaj Spring, located 30 km from Lisine Waterfall on the western side of Beljanica Mountain. It is part of the karst spring group and is one of the most beautiful springs in Eastern Europe. The turquoise waters of Krupaj Spring are breathtaking.

Jelena was an amazing... - Jelena was an amazing guide, spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable on the topic at hand without becoming boring! Eastern Serbia was so pretty wonderful scenery.
Lazar drove us safely around the small country roads. Will definitely book with Serbia Inspired Tours next time I visit Belgrade.

Great Tour - Recommended - I did the Gems of Eastern Serbia tour and it was a really good day overall. The tour was very well organised from start to finish, and communication from the company was clear and easy the whole way through. Milan, our driver, was excellent – smooth, safe, and everything ran on time. Jelena, our guide, was superb, sharing really useful information and interesting facts throughout the day.
The places we visited were absolutely beautiful and I really enjoyed them. The highlight for me was Resava Monastery. The weather definitely helped – it was a clear, sunny day – but it’s a stunning place in its own right, and I can imagine the whole area is even more beautiful in summer.
All in all, a really good tour with a great team behind it. Highly recommended.

Amazing, Wonderful and simply Fantastic - We had an amazing experience with Nina and Milan as our guide and driver.
Milan has kept us safe on the roads all day long and Nina talked us through all insights and knowledge of Serbia, the stops on the Tour and whatever we wanted to know. Both of them also have a great sense of humor.
We had an awesome day and will definitely come back with you guys again one day in the future!

Gems of Eastern Serbia - I had an amazing day with Nina and Milan. Nina was knowledgeable and positive throughout the whole day, and Milan was a fantastic driver. Even though it was raining the whole day, Nina and Milan made our group comfortable, and we soon came to feel like a family. I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic way to spend the day, have fun and learn. - We did the Gems of Eastern Serbia day trip from Belgrade and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our trip.
It’s a long day with multiple stops, and we had cold, rainy weather in the morning, but everything still ran smoothly and on time. The itinerary is well planned and gives you a chance to see places you wouldn’t get to on your own.
Jelena was our guide and she did a great job explaining the history and keeping the group engaged throughout the day. You can tell she really knows the region and enjoys what she does.
Our driver, Ljuba, was also excellent. Always giving us a hand to get in and kut the van, giving us liquids, being humurous.
We stopped for local food and had a rakija tasting, which was a fun part of the experience.
Just be prepared for a full day and some walking, and dress for the weather.
Overall, a very well organized tour with knowledgeable guides and a chance to explore a different side of Serbia.
I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get outside Belgrade for the day.
