- Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress - The journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Belgrade. The first destination is Kalemegdan, the city’s oldest and largest park, along with the stunning Belgrade Fortress. Starting at Leopold’s Gate, the tour will explore the remnants of the Roman castrum, Singidunum, and the medieval walls built upon it, including Zindan Gate, Despot’s Gate, and Jakšića Tower, all dating back to the 15th century. Visitors will also see two Orthodox churches in this part of the fortress: the Chapel of St. Petka and Ružica Church (Virgin Mary Church). Upon entering the Upper Town (Gornji grad), the breathtaking confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers can be admired.
- Pobednik - The tour continues through the Upper Town, featuring the Victor monument by the renowned sculptor Ivan Meštrovic, a Belgrade landmark, the Roman well, the King’s Gate, Sava promenade, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Clock Gate (Sahatkapija), and Clock Tower (Sahatkula). Passing by the Military Museum and through Istanbul’s Gate (Stambol Gate), the tour re-enters Kalemegdan Park. Here, the Monument of Gratitude to France by Ivan Meštrovic and numerous busts of famous Serbian literary figures can be found. The tour then resumes in the vehicle.
- Novi Belgrade - The tour proceeds to showcase New Belgrade’s impressive modern architecture. Developed as a new part of the city post-WWII during the socialist regime, it features remarkable buildings such as the former Central Committee of the Communist Party, the Federal Executive Council (Palace of Federation), Genex Tower (Western Gate of Belgrade), and Sava Center, one of the largest congress halls in this region of Europe. The famous MOMA museum in New York even dedicated a special exhibition, “Toward a Concrete Utopia,” to New Belgrade’s architecture. This area reveals a different side of the city, with buildings reflecting the former Eastern bloc’s “brutalist” style, alongside modern business structures. The tour passes by the “Novak” restaurant, owned by the family of renowned tennis player Novak Đoković, and the Belgrade Arena, a key sports venue in this part of Europe.
- Dedinje - Crossing the Gazela Bridge, the tour heads to Dedinje, Belgrade’s most luxurious residential area. Here, some of the city’s most beautiful mansions are nestled in the greenery and tranquility of Topčider Hill. The guide shares intriguing insights into the history of these properties and their significance during the turbulent 20th century. The tour visits “Rajko Mitić Stadium,” the largest soccer stadium in the country and home to Red Star Belgrade, the last club from Eastern or Southern Europe to win the prestigious Champions League. Nearby, Partizan Belgrade’s stadium stands, marking a rivalry that has lasted over 70 years.
- Museum of Yugoslavia - The tour includes a visit to the Museum of the History of Yugoslavia and the House of Flowers, the resting place of Josip Broz Tito, the leader of the second Yugoslavia.
- St. Sava Temple - From Dedinje, the tour moves to the Vračar area to see one of Belgrade’s most iconic landmarks, the Church of St. Sava (St. Sava Temple), one of the largest Orthodox churches globally. The Temple’s enormous dome is visible throughout the city, and its impressive architecture is undeniable. Construction began in the 1930s on the site where Ottoman forces burned the relics of St. Sava (1175-1236), the founder and first archbishop of the independent Serbian Orthodox Church, and a key figure in Serbian history. Built in the Serbian-Byzantine style, the church covers 3500 m² at floor level, with an additional 1500 m² in the first-level galleries. The dome reaches 70 m in height, with a central gilded cross adding another 12 m, making the Cathedral 82 m tall. Beneath the church floor are vaults and the beautifully decorated crypt of Saint Sava.
- Trg Slavija - After visiting the Temple, the tour re-enters the vehicle, passing through Slavija Square to Nemanjina Street, home to many state governmental institutions: the Government Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Staff of the Serbian Army, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Finance, and the State Court, all showcasing Belgrade’s pre-war architecture.
- The National Assembly - The tour continues along Kralja Milana Street, the city’s main artery, featuring significant buildings like the Old and New Royal Palaces. Passing by Nikola Pasic Square, with a monument to the first Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the tour stops in front of the Parliament Building for a photo opportunity. Here, the Old and New Royal Palaces can be seen, and stories about the two dynasties that ruled Serbia in the 19th and 20th centuries are shared.
- Terazije Fountain - The tour reaches Terazije Square, known for its 19th-century white stone fountain and the Moskva Hotel, one of the city’s most beautiful buildings.
- Trg Republike - The tour concludes at Republic Square, the heart of the capital, where the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions are located. Information about the significant buildings surrounding the Square, such as the National Museum and National Theatre, is provided, along with a brief explanation of why Prince Mihailo is a pivotal figure in Serbia’s modern history.

Great for first time visit! - This tour is great! Guide was super knowledgeable and the places visited were perfect overview for my first time in Belgrade. It’s a good combo of walking and driving from place to place. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time for my arrival day. Company was great at communicating pickup and tour details. Highly recommend!

Recommended visit to Belgrade - Our group of 6 people liked the whole visit in general, as the tour is very well organized. By car, we can identify the most beautiful and panoramic points of the city (Nova é Antiga), and on foot visits we can understand the fantastic history of this magnificent city.
In particular, in the walking visits I emphasize the imperative Temple of St. Sava and the whole complex that surrounds the Castle of Belgrade.
Our guide was very clear in the information provided, demonstrating a high historical knowledge of your city and parents.
We loved it and recommend it!

Very enriching and pleasurable with a private guide. Also very economical - Experience absolute pleasure in knowing the city, its history and dispelling doubts with a very friendly, patient and prepared local guide. How comfortable not to have to look for transports to and from one place or who will guide us in English because obviously I do not speak Serbian.
