Knez Mihailova Street in Belgrade is also one of the longest main walking zones in Europe. Explore the cultural and urban life of Belgrade through its narrow connecting streets. • The Millenary Monument - Travel to Zemun, a historic town and part of Belgrade’s municipalities, located on the opposite bank of the Danube River. Take a short walking tour along the beautiful Zemunski Kej, where you might encounter the swan, a symbol of the area. Visit Gardos Tower, the Millenary Monument, offering a stunning view of the old city and the Danube River.
• Novi Belgrade - Enjoy a panoramic drive through New Belgrade between Zemun and Ada Lake. After World War II, a massive construction project transformed the former swamp into a new city. Workers, students, and citizens from across Yugoslavia contributed. Today, New Belgrade is a modern business area with long, wide boulevards, expansive parks, and more. Pass by The Western City Gate (Genex Tower), one of the city’s most recognizable and state-protected structures, with an optional photo stop. The Park of Friendship along the Danube will be on our route. Crossing the bridge over Ada Lake, view the panorama of raft boats along the Sava River.
• St. Sava Temple - Visit one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. The Saint Sava Church is a highlight of Belgrade, showcasing the main church and crypt. This sacred site represents not only religion and faith but also architectural, cultural, and historical significance, welcoming people from around the globe. It is a treasure and memorial dedicated to the Serbian Royal Family, featuring colorful frescoes primarily created as mosaics.
