• Caves of Cushendun - Cushendun is a quaint coastal village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, located off the A2 coast road between Cushendall and Ballycastle. It features a sheltered harbor and is situated at the mouth of the River Dun and Glendun, one of the nine Glens of Antrim. Visitors can meet Johann the Goat. The village’s name, Cushendun (from Irish: Cois Abhann Doinne, meaning ‘foot of the River Dun’), reflects its location. The Mull of Kintyre in Scotland is just about 15 miles away across the North Channel. The Cushendun Caves served as one of the Game of Thrones filming locations in Northern Ireland, providing the backdrop for the Stormlands. These caves were the setting for one of the most memorable scenes from season two, where Melisandre gave birth to the Shadow Assassin.

Spend ample time discovering this natural wonder, with around an hour to explore the 50,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns along the Atlantic Ocean’s shores. These basalt columns were formed during a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago.
