Eye-opening - The tour was just as it’s described: a walk along both sides of the Peace Wall, guided by former political prisoners. I expected to hear about the Troubles, and how that was all in the past, but the feeling I got from our guides (one more than the other) was that the wounds remain quite raw in some ways. There is no doubt the situation is better now than in the past, with hope for the future, but I honestly found the whole tour quite sad and sobering. Perhaps I was naive going into it. Physically, it was three hours of walking, but the walking was strolling, with a stop for restrooms and drinks along the way.

A must do if you are interested in the recent History and ongoing problems of a still divided City - One of the most thought provoking and striking tours i have done. Both guides were excellent and although they held conflicting views they were both very knowledgeable and interesting. They were not just people narrating a piece of history they were a living part of the story.

Very interesting and balanced - This was an excellent tour, providing real life historical information from both sides of the conflict by people who experienced it first hand. Very interesting and balanced.

Fascinating tour of centre of The Troubles - An absolutely fascinating walk, with 2 very knowledgeable guides. Starting in the republican community for an hour and a halfs walk around some of the most important sites of The Troubles, followed by another hour and a half in the loyalist community, learning about the major events where they happened. Thoroughly recommend this for anyone wanting to gain a further understanding of the history of the city.

Great Tour - Great tour. Gives a real flavour of the background to the troubles which, frankly, continue as an undercurrent to today. Second time doing this walk and got something, different again out of it, to last time. Warning - with lots of standing it gets very cold - the opportunity to get a coffee just inside the Shankill Road area was very welcome! ☺️. Highly recommend this tour.

A unique and fascinating experience that will stay with you - An extraordinary experience for anyone interested in politics and conflict. Our guide up the Falls was a former IRA terrorist, and our guide down the Shankill was from a political family, both deeply immersed in the tensions of this divided place and willing to share their perspectives without expecting you to agree. Go with an open mind and absorb both sides. And if it's winter, wear your very warmest clothes because there is quite a bit of standing around listening.

Essential Tour if visiting Belfast - Brilliant tour. Even the rain didn't spoil it. both guides (Paul & Ian) put their views across and shared their experiences with honesty having experienced the troubles first hand. I would say this tour is a must for anybody visiting Belfast. Would definitely do it again.

Firstly, it is all... - Firstly, it is all outdoors so do dress for the weather. It was windy and cold on our tour. This was an excellent experience. Fascinating stories from both sides of Belfast's troubled past. The only room for improvement was the absence of some context-setting at the start where the first guide should really have declared their bias and explained that we would hear the 'other side' too.

great walk - Definitely need to be aware it is 3 hours walking and standing, fortunately it wasn't raining when we went. But both Paul and Mark gave a very interesting , if conflicting, account of the very complicated history and how it still affects them today. Thank you for a great insight.
