Great way to see the peace Wall - The taxi tour was a great way to see the peace wall and the other murals on both sides of the troubles in Belfast. Our guide Paul had lived through the troubles and was able to give us a good personal insight into living in Belfast through the period of the troubles.

Fantastic Experience - This tour was the best way to begin our Belfast experience. Jim, our tour guide, was fantastic. He began by learning a little about us and our interests. From there, he gave us an introduction to Belfast and Northern Ireland and highlighted our areas of interest. The entire time with Jim was informative, interesting, and entertaining. The tour is well worth the time and money. We think it is a must-do when visiting Belfast.

Belfast political and mural black taxi tour. - Excellent tour of both sides of the Belfast "peace wall". Our guide was very helpful and shared his experience of living in Belfast during the "troubles". The tour lasted 90 minutes and we were dropped off at our chosen destination in the city centre. Recommended.

Essential Tour for Understanding the Troubles in Belfast - We had an excellent experience on the Belfast Political & Mural Tour with Belfast Tours. The tour was very convenient, as they picked the two of us up directly from our hotel in the city center. Our guide drove us along the areas surrounding the Peace Walls, which were built to help prevent violent conflict between the nationalist/Catholic and unionist/Protestant communities. He provided a very thoughtful and informative explanation of the history leading up to the Troubles and the lasting impact on the city. What stood out most was how balanced and respectful the presentation was. Our guide remained neutral and focused on helping visitors understand the complexity of the conflict rather than promoting one perspective over another. We stopped at several important political murals and memorials, and the guide had deep knowledge of the key people, events, and symbolism represented in the artwork. At the end of the tour, we were dropped off at the Rusty Saddle and were also given a great recommendation to visit The Crown Liquor Saloon. Overall, this tour is a must if you visit Belfast and want a deeper understanding of the city’s history.
