• Soap Museum - Saida - Nestled within the old city, this unique museum is housed in a beautifully restored khan and is entirely dedicated to Sidon’s ancient olive oil soap-making tradition — a craft practiced for over a thousand years. Exhibits guide you through the entire production process, from olive harvesting to pressing, cooking, and cutting soap blocks, many of which were exported across the Mediterranean and to Europe.
• Khan al-Franj - Conclude your time in Sidon at this magnificent 17th-century caravanserai commissioned by Emir Fakhreddine II to host European merchants trading along the Silk Road. The wide arcaded courtyard, elegant vaulted galleries, and intricately carved stone facades make Khan el Franj one of the finest examples of Ottoman-era architecture in Lebanon — and one of the most photographed locations in Sidon.
