• Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Guests will be collected at 8:00 am from their centrally located hotel in Beijing. The tour will proceed directly to the Summer Palace, a vast landscape garden designed in the style of Jiangnan Gardens. It is the most well-preserved imperial garden and is renowned as the “Royal Garden Museum,” also recognized as a major national tourist attraction. Following this, there will be a brief visit to a silk factory, and lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant.
• Temple of Heaven - Next, visitors will explore the magnificent Temple of Heaven, originally constructed in the eighteenth year of Yongle during the Ming Dynasty (1420), and later renovated during the reigns of Qianlong and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. This site was where the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped the Emperor of Heaven and prayed for bountiful harvests. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel.
