The Forbidden City was the residence of ancient Chinese emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political hub of the Chinese government for nearly 500 years. This vast and majestic palace complex has a history that was once inaccessible to the common people. You will be guided through this enigmatic palace, gaining insight into the ancient royal lifestyle.
